Social reforms & Charitable Organization (SRCO) has been established in 1994. The SRCO is registered under J&K Registration of Societies Act, 1941 AD. The said organization is non-political, non-profitable, non-secarian Social and Charitable and is set up for the welfare of downtrodden, orphan, destitute widows and helpless women and children.

To provide financial aid to the poor, down-trodden and needy persons, students, widows, orphans, handicapped, distressed, socially and economically backward etc. in rural areas. |

To establish educational, industrial handicrafts, adult education, vocational training institutions for the welfare and betterment of the people in general and down-trodden, widows, distressed, handicapped crippled children, SC/ST, women particularly in rural areas. |

To fight against social evils, customs prevailing in our society. |

Organize seminars, debates against social evils and national integration, environmental etc. |

To conduct different types of survey which will be for the benefit of the government/general public |

To set up dispensaries other institutions with view to render medical facilities to the needy people especially in the rural backward areas. |

To provide work for unemployment youth and females. |

To help rural people to initiate development project which will improve the health education, transport, drinking water, irrigation, agriculture, horticulture diary ,poultry and fisheries etc. |

To strive to develop entrepreneurship to start projects which will provide job opportunities to rural people and particularly women section. |

To help prepare and train the rural youth for industrial jobs,self- employment and for competitive examinations. |

To organize the program related to women and child development. |

Income generating projects, awareness camps, welfare works ,rural sanitation programme, rural development programme etc. |

To undertake all other legtimate acts which may be deemed necessary for achieving the aforesaid objects from time to time. |
